Straw colour. Cool nose for the grape and area. Hints of flowers, minerality, some ash. Dry and powerful Riesling in the mouth.
Yet, cool Riesling for Kaiserstuhl with a quite mineral approach. Some hints of sweetish flowers that tells of a young wine. Clear
and modern style, but well made and focused. The slightly ashy and volcanic hints are typical of the Schlossberg. Fine acidity.
Citrusy finish. Young riesling from an obviously southern part of Germany. Still young, but drinking nicely now. Very good.
