The colour was light golden. Nice, quite strange and complex smell. Mineral with hints of butter, flowers and wool. Full-bodied in the
mouth. Almost dry. Just a little hint of residual sugar. Mature and complex fruitiness. Good acidity and balances nicely it's
extreme 15,5% of alcohol. Long taste. By far the best and most complex vermentino I have tasted. Interesting and extreme style.
Arnt Egil Nordlien Tasting note: Aug-01
Made from passito vermentino-grapes and bottled as Colli dei Limbara VdT. This wine has a yellow/brown colour. Nice and complex nose
of nuts, dried flowers and light botrytis. Very powerful off-dry wine in the mouth with mature nutty fruit, some hints of sweet flowers
and lemon in the finish. Good acidity and surprisingly well balances it's 15,5% alcohol. Good length. Very interesting wine.
