Tasting notes
Deep brick-red colour. Typical oxidative fruit on the nose with hints of raisins, leather. Some botrytis showing. Complex and evolved.
Powerful and sweetish moutfeel. Lots of raisiny dried fruit with some evolved flavours. Leather, old woods, nuts. Some bitterness from
the botrytis. Fine concentration. Medium acids and light tannins on the back. Dry and a hot alcoholic finish. Decent length. Highly
traditional amarone that is nice enough to enjoy for the fruit. Not great.
