Tasting notes
This was a decent glass of amarone.Especially if you like it in the more modern style. Pure and with a touch of oak. Dark red colour.
Nose shows cherries, kirsch, oak, almonds and a raisiny note. Quite complex and a bit modern in style. Powerful in
the mouth. Good concentration. Some oak, but decent balance. Leathery fruit, hints of anise, cherries and almonds. Decent acidity and
some tannins in the back. Good length. Seems to need some time.
