Blue grape found in the Emilia-Romagna where it is
used as a blending-component in Lambrusco mostly in Emilia,
but also over the border in Lombardia. It is not often used
as a varietal-wine, but the large producer Riunite makes one
which is normally a good wine for the cheap price.
The grape has good sugars and colour and a more neutral aroma.
