This is not the most refined Savagnin I have tasted, but this has a great depth and is a very interesting indeed. Yellow colour.
Lightly brownish. Fine and intence nose. Much voile with lots of fenugreek and hints of burnt wood and nuts. But also a very fine
flowery depth. Even minerality shows. Fullbodied Savagnin voile in the mouth. This has the power of a vin jaune. Concentrated fruit.
A little evolved. Rustic, great depth. Mineral, smokey elements. Refreshing taste with a long taste with hints of citrus in the dry
finish. This is truly a great wine for the price. Drinking fine now, will last a long time.
