This Vin Jaune did never open up to show it's best this day. Especially in the mouth it was closed. It needs at least another 5 years.
Deep yellow colour. The nose shows much flor with hints of nuts, salt, pine-needles and slight fenugreek. Quite intense. In the mouth
this Vin Jaune is tighter than and slimmer expected. It seems young and a bit closed fruit. Much flor here. Also nutty. But fruit
does not show that much. With air there comes a flowery depth. Quite crisp style. Long with a citrusy and nutty finish. Fine and dry
balance. Good length. Fine and promising quality.
