Terrible looking bottle. Low fill. Cork wet all the way. Seemed to be leeking. Still when opened, no signs of oxidation and great juice.
The colour is transparent brown-red. The nose is a killer. It has a great aged sweetness in it. Anise, medicinal, old dust and fine
floral high notes. Medium bodied spätburgunder in the mouth. Off-dry style. Some sweetness remains. Nicely evolved
Höllenberg-character. Medicinal, anisy, old dust. The finish shows some spice. Round and kind mouthfeel. Decent acidity and rounded out
tannins on the finish. Great wine.
