Colour was deep brick-red colour. Browning edge. The colour clearly indicates an old wine, but the core was deep for a nebbiolo. Nice
smell that needed a full hour to open up. Hints of tar and minerals, roses and hazelnuts. Slight hint of cherry. Quite complex. With
more time the nose grew more and more mineral. Good body in the mouth. Evolved fruitiness, but packed with aromas. Hints of tar and
tobacco and a little more evident cherry-taste. Good acidic structure and long taste. Carrying it's 14% alcohol perfectly. Some
tannins, but not much. A great and mature barbaresco. A step below the quality of the 78 riserva Pora that I had this summer.
