Brown-red colour. Quite nice nose. At first a whiff of something dirty, but it blows off within half an hour. Hints of tobacco,
anise, leather. Some floral notes typical of old nebbiolo. Fullbodied in the mouth. Tight and tannic Barbaresco in the mouth. The
vintage shows. Still lots of fruit left. Tertiary aromatics. Anise and tobacco. Floral notes. Not the deepest nebbiolo, but fine
fruit. Tight and tough finish with lots of tannins. One of the best wines I have had from Parroco di Neive. Lots of life left.
