Tasting notes

Deep red colour with a nice and quite fruity nose of nuts, cherries, dark berries and fine floral hints. Full-bodied and fruity style in the mouth with some nuts and roses. Soft and ripe wine, but not overripe. Modern made wine with some oak, but in the background. Tannic end. Approachable now. Good modern made Barbaresco. Drinking nicely now.

Deep red colour. Fruity Barbaresco on the nose. Quite nice. Hints of cherries, some anise, some oak and floral notes. Fullbodied in the mouth. Quite soft Barbaresco with lots of upfront fruit. Cherries. Some oak, but well-integrated. Hints of roses, some tar. Not too ripe from this hot vintage, but remains rather fruity and a bit on the simple side for a Barbaresco. Medium acidity. Some tannins on the dry finish. Seems mature now. A petite Barbaresco, but a nice glass. Very good.
