The colour was deep red. The wine was aired for two hours, still the nose was closed and did not give much. After another hour there
were some nice hints of tobacco, cherries, slight roses, spices?. Good body in the mouth. Nice fruit-concentration. Good acidity given
the vintage and some tannins. Probably not a long lived Barb. but well balanced. Nice minerality that I think will be quite complex
with another 4-5 years of cellaring. A very good traditional Barbaresco.
