Deep brick-red colour. Fine nose. Cooler and darker than the Castellizzano. Tar and anise. Minerality. Forest floor, light florality.
Typical fullbodied Barbaresco in the mouth. GOod fruit-concentration. A bit closed. Anse and tar. Cooler style of nebbiolo. Medium
acidity. Quite tannic end. Good and the best of these three from Elvio Pertinace. But again no great Barbaresco.
