Behind this kitchy label was a very modern made Barbaresco. The colour is deep, but shows the typical nebbiolo lightly brick hints.
The nose is sweet with lots of ripe berries, raisins, some oak and a touch of anise. The ripeness is more noticable than the oak.
In the mouth this is a soft and round Barbaresco with an almost amarone like fruit with lots of raisins and ripe fruit-notes. Fruity
style with some sweet oak-notes. Simpler style than one expects. Kind and soft acids and surprisingly round and kind tannins in
the finish. Lacks the dryness of a nebbiolo and also the depth in the fruit.
