This bottle had a little low fill. The cork looked good from the top, but I noticed it was quite wet as I opened the bottle. Anyway
there was not a trace of oxidation in this wine. The colour was quite deep brick-red, but with a lot of browning at the rim. Nose was
very mineral and complex and needed 45 min. to show it's best. Hints of leather, cherries, exotic wood,
roses and hazelnuts. Medium bodied in the mouth. Mature complex fruitiness. The same exotic woody spicyness, cherries, hazelnuts,
roses. Tremendous acidic structure. This must be the ultimate food-wine. Still some tannins in the back. Good length. One of the best
nebbiolos I have tasted. On top now and I think it will stay there for some more years.
