Deep brown-red colour. The nose shows hints of spice, tobacco, leather and some florality. Nice enough, but not as pure and focused as
I hope to find in an aged nebbiolo. Fullbodied and quite tannic Barbaresco in the mouth. Fine lightly underripe fruit with medium
concentration. Spicey, leather fruit. Again it resembles the nose with nice fruit, but lacks the focus I seek in a Barbaresco. The
finish is tannic and the wine has a hard structure typical of the vintage. Good wine, but disappointing for a Produttori-riserva from
this vintage.

Brick colour. Complex and evolved nose. A little earthy. Hints of tar and a fine core of roses. Tight and structured Barbaresco in the
mouth. Slim and an elegant wine with lots of roses in the fruit. Good acidity and a tannic end. Great wine that drink well now. Much
better than the previous bottle.
