Brick red colour. Quite deep and red. Nose shows those heavy
nebbiolo-aromas of anise, tar, tobacco, some roses and
cherries. Quite ethereal. Good body, medium concentration
of fruit. Mature. Anise, tar and tobacco. Good acids. Tannic.
Some greenness in the tannins.
A very nice Barbaresco. On the green side and with typical
nebbiolo-aromas. Mature.
Arnt Egil Nordlien Tasting note: Aug-05
Deep, but badly browning, colour. The nose shows oxydation. Some coffee and slight hints of roses present in the nose. Still some
nebbiolo-notes. In the mouth also the oxydation is too much. Some red berries and roses left. A shame for such a young wine. It made
a fantastic sauce though.
