Dark red colour. Oaky nose. Closed, but also some cherries. Powerful in the mouth and also here with a non-integrated oakiness, but
shows more cherries and fruit behind. Concentrated and balanced. But needs time. Fine acids. Young and promising.
Arnt Egil Nordlien Tasting note: March-99
This was a fine barbera - typical and fruity. But it was a little lacking in depth. To be honest I hade higher hopes for this wine.
Oak is very well integrated. Deep red colour. Looks young, still towards pink. Intense sour-sweet nose. Fruity towards cherries or
kirsch. Slight florality. Good body for a barbera. Medium concentration of fruit. Again very fruity and straighforward notes of
cherries on the palate. Good acidic backbone and only light tannins in the back. Medium length. Drinks well now.
