Deep red colour. Smell of barbera in noble barriques. Nose starting to come around showing complex hints of dark berries,
oak and floral hints. Powerful in the mouth and concentrated wine. Needs better integration, but far better than last
year. Starting to show some nice fruit behind the oak. High acidity and light tannins. Very good modern made barbera. Give
it 2-3 more years.
Arnt Egil Nordlien Tasting note: June-02
Dark red colour. The nose shows oak, cherries, fin hints of earth. Powerful and concentrated barbera in the mouth.
Definitely a modern amde barbera with a dose of oak. Yet this balances with fine fruit. Starts to integrate, but this wine
is still surprisingly young and primary. Cherries, oak and earth. Fine acidity and some tannins in the back still show.
Quite seemless and well-made modern-made barbera. Starting to mature, but still needs another 2-3 years in the cellar.
Very good.
