Black-red colour. Purple rim. Fruity nose with hints of cherry-stones, some oak and vanilla. Powerful in the mouth and concentrated
fruit. A bit sweet and with some oak, but more fruit. High acids, long taste and just a little tannins. Very good barbera.
Arnt Egil Nordlien Tasting note: March-99
Deep red colour. A little shy on the nose. Earthy and mineral hints. Some cherries and floral high-notes. Medium bodied,
mature and a bit earthy barbera. The fruit seems to be fading and has lost some intensity. Some hints of cherries. Fine
acidity, especially for the vintage. Still quite soft style and with little tannins in the back. Still good, but drink
up.
