Dark red colour, slightly browning rim. The nose shows old woods, coffee, cherries, some leather. Powerful in the mouth. The fruit
shows a little warm style with some oak. But quite integrated. Leather, cherries in the fruit. Still young, but with some
complexity. Good acidity. A little tannins in the back. Good, but not great.
Arnt Egil Nordlien Tasting note: Nov-99
Dark brick-red colour. Complex nose, leathery, medicinal, cherries, earth. Oak is more integreated on the nose than previous bottle.
Quite fine now. Good body. The fruit is more mature, leathery, earthy with hints of oak and cherries. This does not seem to focus
to clearly though. A little vague. A phase?? Good acidity and some tannins in the back. Still has the structure. Decent wine.
