Deep red colour. Slightly bricking. Nose a bit shy at first.
Then quite fruity with hints of cherries, earth, anise and
some leather. Powerful in the mouth. Nice concentration. A
bit rustic, traditional barbera with hints of ink and earth.
High acids and light tannins. Good length. No noticable oak
here. Extremely backward barbera. Actually still young. Can
age at least another 5 years. Very good, but Vajras Bricco
delle Viole 85 is better.
