Tasting notes

Light transparent brick-red colour. Evolved and quite complex nebbiolo-nose with hints of tobacco, anise, light red berries and a touch of floral high-notes. With air it shows more anise and tar. There is also a slight oxidation noticable. Structured and tight wine in the mouth with a fine and refreshing acidity. Mature fruit. Lots of anise-notes in the mouth. Some tar, a little red berries. Acidic taste. Fine acidity giving refreshment and notes of acidic berries and citrus. Some tannins in the finish. Quite round and pretty tannins for this grape. Great wine that needs drinking now.
