Deep brownish colour. Red at the core. The nose shows old woods, some wool, anise. With 3-4 hours of air in a large decanter the nose
is cleaner. Showing more intensity. Hints of anise, floral high-notes. The wooly scent has blown away. Medium bodied Barolo in the
mouth. Still good fruit. Evolved with a certain sweetness in it. Old woods, anise-notes. Fine fruit. Quite round acids. The tannins are
still there in the back and makes it long and dry. Not a great wine, but a very good aged Barolo.
