This was a fine petit Barolo that is starting to drink nicely now. Brick-red colour. Fine and typical nose with hints of tobacco,
anise, and fine floral high notes. Good body, but not the fullest for a Barolo. Fine concentration. Evolved fruit with hints of
anise, tobacco, some tar. Fair acidity and some tannins in the finish, but round and mild style for this grape. Fine and drinkable
now. Drink during next 5 years. Well worth the price.
Arnt Egil Nordlien Tasting note: Aug-07
Red colour. Leather and tobacco on the nose. Some tar and anise. Light high-notes. Medium bodied Barolo and quite round and kind
style. The fruit is transparent with hints of tar and tobacco. Some anise-notes. Evolved. Medium acids and typical dry ad tannic
end. Nice small and simple Barolo that drinks very well now. Good for the price.
