Quite deep brick red colour with a lot of browning at the rim. Smell of tar, smoke, leather and slight roses. Good body in the mouth.
Mature fruitiness with hints of cherries, tar, smoke and slight anise. Not very complex. Good acidity and some tannins in the back, but
this is a softer-styled Barolo with traditional aromas. A good but not great wine with a surprisingly short finish. Mature. Drink up.
