Tasting notes

Original release. Quite fine bottle with good fill. Light brown-red colour. Light, even for a Barolo. The nose shows old dust, tar, anise, some red berries. Typical and fine, although lacking a little intensity. With air there comes some fine floral high-notes. Quite light Barolo in the mouth. Highly mature bottle. Clean and fine fruit with no oxidation. Hints of tar, anise, florality. Fine acidity. Structured style and still with a lot of tannins in the back. Good length. This is a very nice and traditional Barolo that seems fully mature now. The structure remains, but the fruit seems to have started to fade. Drink up.
