A bit low fill in this bottle but the cork looked very good. Light brown/red colour. Very nice and mineral smell of earth, roses,
dust, tar and tobacco. No oxidation. Good body in the mouth. Mature notes of minerals, tobacco and strawberry. The wines from Scarpa
always has high acidity and this is no exception. Still tannins in the back. Good length. Very ready now. This wine is a very good
aged barolo but I believe the fruit is fading so drink now.
