Brick-red colour, browning rim. Earthy nose with hints of tar and some minerality. Medium bodied in the mouth. Mature fruit. Some earth
and cherries. Some tar. Lacking a little depth in the fruit. A little too old. Fine acidity and still tannins in the back. A good
Barolo, but probably even better a few years ago.
