This was from a bottle with B/C-fill. There was no capsul on top and the cork looked to be in rather poor shape. Still this proved to be
one of those great bottles. Golden colour. Intense and complex nose that grew with air. First quite sweet with hints of coffee, nuts.
Then with some minutes of air it showed an amazing floral and mineral depth. Wonderful and complex. In the mouth the wine is concentrated
with still loads of fruit. Hints of dark nuts, coffee. Almost fat. Again it shows it's fine depth and fine complexity. In the last part
of the taste-curve the acidity kicks in with a very fine acid-bite. Dry, citrusy finish with hints of nuts. Wonderful food-wine and a
great Batatd-Montrachet that drinks on top now, but with it's power and structure it will last probably another 20-30 years. One great
experience.
