Bouzy, 85% PN, 15% chardonnay. Straw colour. Clean, mineral and floral nose. Yellow flowers --> almost Franciacorta-like (in a good
way). But more chalky and mineral. Fresh and quite fullbodied, typical PN-dominated in the mouth. Drinking quite nicely now. Nice
floral and mineral depth. The mousse could be finer, but really this is a very fine Champagne that is a great value.
Arnt Egil Nordlien Tasting note:April-06
This bottle has degorgement-date 10/2005. Golden colour. Medium fine mousse. Nose shows toasted bread, yeast, chalk. Powerful and
more PN-dominated in the mouth with more red fruits. Fine acids. But a little closed and not showing as much as the previous bottling.
Young and quite aggressive Champagne. Needs time to settle.
