Tasting notes

According to (one of) the producer(s) this contained 14,8% alc/vol (the label states 14,0%). Yellow/golden colour. Fine nose of botrytis, honey, spice, peach and a fine and interesting minerality. Powerful riesling in the mouth. This is powerful like in a new meaning of the word powerful. Huge concentration. Viscous, BA-like style, yet this is feinherb in style. Lots of botrytis in the fruit, but fine botrytis. Very fine botrytis for this vintage. Lots of honey and minerality. Big and rough style, but also with a great depth and very interesting. Medium acidity and a long warm finish with rough alcohol-notes. But also some citrus and honey. A very interesting wine that would be interesting to follow. Great, despite it's roughness.
