Grand cru blanc de blancs. No deg.date, but this has been around for a while. The wine revealed a quite deep colour. The nose is
great, showing flowers, citrus, chalk and typical Cramant-like forest-floor notes.Full-bodied and concentrated. A bit more sweetness
in the beginning with nice flowery and forest-floor fruit. And the structure is soo impressive. Long citrusy taste. Still a bit
tight impression. Young, but this is highly tempting now. Great champagne indeed. A few days later I had the Diebolt-Vallois NV
Prestige, which is about the same price and a long time favourite of mine. Well the Bonnaire 1996 is better. Buy more.

Straw, quite deep, colour. Very fine and flowery nose. Hints of chalk, mineral, forest floor, fine depth and typical Cramant.
Fullbodied and almost a little "fat" entrance. Great cocentration. Flowery, forest floor,-character. Mineral and with a citrusy
finish. Good structure and acidic long finish. Fine integrated mousse. A very great Cramant-champagne which drinks surprisingly well
for a 96. From the cork it seems there is some time since degorgement.

Straw colour. Fine mousse, small bubbles, better integrated. Mineral (chalk) nose with hints of mushrooms, apples and seaweed. Fullbodied
with the typical concentration and flowery, mushroomy character of the Cramant. Fruit a little closed today. Great structure, acidic
citrusy long finish. Can age further.
