This is a fine wine given the poor vintage. It is an obvious nebbiolo(-based) wine in both the fruit and the somewhat hard structure.
Red colour, a touch of bricking. The nose shows hint of bark, nuts, anise, slight red berries and some floral high notes. Fullbodied
and dry wine in the mouth. Concentration is a little bit low. The vintage showing here. The fruit is mature and showing bark, anise
and a fine florality. This seems rather traditional in style. The acidity is fine and the finish is tannic and a little hard. Good
length. This will probably last, but I would drink now as the fruit probably is at peak.
