This was a fine italian cabernet. A bit massive and with integrated oak. But the fruit shows a touch lack in focus which I have found
better in other vintages of this wine. Dark red colour. Nose shows hints of dark berries, blackcurrant-leafs, stable. Some oak. Good
body in the mouth with a fine concentration of fruit. Some evolvement. Hints of stable, blackcurrant-leafs. Some florality, but not
the greatest depth here. A little dusty fruit and not the most focused Fratta I have tasted. Very fine acidity for a cab-dominated
wine gives it a fine lift in the finish which shows some (positive) herbal notes. Some tannins in the finish. Good length. Fine wine.
