Deep brick-red colour. Tremendous smell. Complex and noble. Hints of leather, cherry, Tuscan earth. Medium bodied in the mouth. Not
as full as I expected. Mature fruit with hints of cherry, earth and old wood. Good acidity and light tannins in the finish. Great CCR
with a killer nose. This seems more mature than the il poggio 83.
Arnt Egil Nordlien Tasting note: Aug-01
Brick-red colour. Fine and complex nose of old woods, red berries, stable, some floral high notes. Medium bodied in the mouth. Mature
Chianti. Acidic and food-friendly style. Traditional. Still has some concentration of evolved fruit. Perhaps a little on the way
down. Old woods, stable, florality. Fien indeed. Only light tannins in the back. Drink up.
