Brick-red colour. Nose shows cherry-stones, stable, leather and earth. Fullbodied Chianti classico riserva in the mouth. Typical
bitter-cherries and earth. Quite complex and with good concentration. Good acidity and still quite tannic end. Long and intense
taste. Drinks fine now, but will last. Very fine Chianti.
Arnt Egil Nordlien Tasting note: Jan-00
This was a great bottle of wine. Chianti classico does not get much better than this. Brown-red colour. Red core, browning rim. Fine
nose, evolved and complex. Hints of wet earth, spice and floral high-notes. Integrated oak. Medium bodied Chianti classico riserva
in the mouth. Seems a little more primary than on the nose. More cherries and fruit. A fine flowery depth. Good concentration and
lots of life. Fine acidity and still some tannins in the back providing fine structure. Drinks perferctly now.
