Tasting notes

Deep red colour. Very Bordeaux-like nose with hints of dark red berries, tobacco, stable. Oak is apparent, little hint of ink. Some floral high notes. Medium bodied and very elegant Cahors in the mouth. Rounder in style and again more Bordeaux-like than Cahors. Still on the young side. Some oak noticable. Medium concentration, quite floral and tobaccoish fruit. Some tannins in the back, but round and not as noticable as in many other Cahors'. A modern Cahors drinking well now but will age.
