Deep red colour. Nose shows very traditional Cahors-notes of ink, olives. Light mint, earth and some floral notes. Medium bodied and
a rustic wine in the mouth. Traditional style. Evolved fruit with medium concentration. Some complexity. Medium acidity. Some tannins
in the back, but a little short and thin finish with a metallic note. Fair wine for the price and a typical Cahors, but not too
exiting.
Arnt Egil Nordlien Tasting note: March-07
Deep red colour. The nose shows ink, anise and old woods. Medium bodied Cahors in the mouth with a little low concentration. Evolved and
quite complex fruit. Hints of ink, old woods, anise, touch of mint. Typical Cahors. Medium acidity and some tannins in the dry finish.
This one is ready now. Perhaps it will age longer, but with the low concentration I would suggest drink now.
