Deep red-brown colour. Earthy and rustic nose. Lots of low-notes. Hints of sweet anise, some fine high-notes. A little oxidation. In
the mouth this wine needed three hours to open up the fruit. Then it showed fullbodied. Lots of concentration. Evolved and tertiary
fruit. Earthy, anisy. Slight complexity. Not so deep. Structured and tannic wine medium acidity and a tannic dry end. Rich and
structured style, but rather simple and rustic styled. Slightly on the warm side of Uva di Troia. Very good.
