Tasting notes

Yellow colour. Tremendous nose. Complex and fresh. Sweet dark bread, flowers, minerality. Great depth. Fullbodied and lightly sweet Silvaner in the mouth. Seems sweeter than expected. Concentrated fruit. Remarkably fresh fruit. Although aged into complexity. Fine limey, mineral, smokey notes. Chalky hints of strawberries and brioche. Medium to low acidity. Could have had a tad more. Round style and a long finish. Drinks perfectly now. But this has kept so fresh fruit and so much concentration it will no doubt last much longer.

Yellow colour. Great nose. Complex. Dark bread, chalk, anise, leafy Silvaner-notes, minerality. Typical Silvaner, aged into a complexity and with a touch of sweetness in it. Fullbodied Silvaner in the mouth with great concentration. Almost dry, but seems a bit sweeter. Old and aged, but with a remarkable freshness in the fruit. Chalky, mineral depth. Leafy upfront and with loads of dark bread-notes and a touch of anise. Quite fat mouthfeel from all the fruit. Medium to low acidity. Long taste and a slight and typical bitterness in the finish. Absolutely tremendous and classic Silvaner. On top now, will last.
