Tasting notes

This was a Franken riesling of fair quality. It is a bit unfocused right now, but shows also some interesting minerality. Light yellow colour. The nose is balsamic, but perhaps a bit vague. Hints of honey, flowers and wool. Dry and fullbodied riesling in the mouth. Round and kind style with a flowery fruit. Touch of wool and honey. Light minerals showing. Round acids and a touch of residual sugar. Medium length. Decent.

Yellow colour. Pretty nose, on the ripe side. Honey, minerality. Flowers, slight vegetal notes. Somewhat developed and good complexity. Fullbodied and dry Franken Riesling in the mouth. Lots of fruit. Again noticeable ripe aromatics. Honey, yellow fruits. But also a very pretty and deep minerality. Medium acids and good length. Mineral finish. This has developed nicely and is a very nice wine in it’s style. A lot finer than the previous bottle.
