Typically lightly golden hues from the spätburgunder-grape. Very pretty nose. Biscuits, chalk, melon, citrus, flowers, minerality.
Fullbodied yet a raffined Champagne and a slim mouthfeel for being pinot noir-dominated. Fine mousse. Small bubbles. Clear and precise
fruit with fine concentration. Some fruit-notes like melon and citrus. Chalky, mineralic depth. Biscuity hints. Quite high acids and a
refreshing finish with good length. This is a great Champagne from Benoit Lahaye. Great QPR. Still a bit on the young side, but very
tempting right now.
