Tasting notes

Dark red colour. Young and tight-looking colour. The nose shows blackcurrant, dark berries, hints of lead-pencil and some floral notes. Slight evolvement, but still highly primary and fruity. Powerful Bordeaux in the mouth. Very tight and structured for this vintage. Lots of fruit. Primary and monolithic. Also a little dusty feel and with a slight herbaciousness. Lacking some depth. Medium acidity. Quite hard and dry and tannic finish. Decent quality and surprisingly young Bordeaux. But not exactly an elegant wine.
