Tasting notes

73 cl. Cordier-bottle. Chateau-bottling. Brick-red colour. Strange nose at first. Wet dog. Hints of stable and lead-pencil. The nose gets better with air, but remains a little vague and out of focus. Good body. Medium concentration. The fruit is different here and shows stable with a touch of anise. Medium to low acids and a tannic and dry finish. Seems backward and young in the structure. The fruit however seems to be both out of focus and perhaps fading. Not a great Gruaud and a disappointing '76.
