Tasting notes

Brick-red colour. Fine colour. The nose shows stable, old wood, some lead. A little oak and it is also strangely shy. Medium bodied and quite elegant Bordeaux in the mouth. Medium concentration and fine acidity. The fruit shows a little better in the mouth. Hints of red berries, floral notes. Stable. Yet does not completely come forward. Medium length. This is a wine I thought would perform better. Some of the '79-character is there, yet it remains shy and vague. Perhaps another bottle or more aging will help.
