Tasting notes

Straw colour. The nose shows butter, smoke, marsipan. Evolved and lightly complex. Medium bodied white Bordeaux in the mouth. Evovled, smokey fruit. Hints of marspian, some oak, but well integrated by now. A bit hollow and thinning towards the end. Fine acidity. Citrusy finish. Medium length. Mature now and probably past it's peak. Drink up. Good.

Yellow and slight green colour. Nice nose of smoke, lots of seaweed, mineral, oak. Complex. Good body in the mouth. Not the most concentrated wine. Slight fatness and oak, well balanced with acidity. Higher than normal for dry white Bord. Mature fruit, quite complex. Very fine wine, much better and younger than last bottle. Still a mature wine, so drink up.
