Tasting notes

Dark red colour. Quite herbacious nose with fine hints of blackcurrant and lead-pencil. Medium bodied Bordeaux in the mouth with good concentration. A bit soft and elegant style. Very fine fruit. Complex, quite evolved.Medium acidity and still a little tight and tannic end. This is a very good '87 Bordeaux and a fine Pichon Lalande.

Deep red colour. Nose shows cedar, tobacco, herbs and some blackcurrant. Quite complex. Fullbodied and quite soft Bordeaux in the mouth. Typical. Complex and not too silky fruit. Good concentration. Fine acidity and maturing tannins in the back. Good length. This wine is a very fine '87 Bordeaux and is drinking very fine right now. Good for the price.
