Red colour with slightly browning rim. Earthy nose with hints of coffee, cherries and nuts. Medium bodied and highly acidic
mouthfeel. Mature fruit, but fine earthy, nutty and some cherries. Some complexity. Little tannins. Excellent foodwine.

Deep red colour. Light brown rim. Nose shows cherry-stones, nuts and earth. Medium bodied wine with fine and mature fruit. More
fruit than previous bottle. More cherry and with fine and typical earthiness. High acids and a little tannins in the back. This is
on top now and will last.

Deep red colour with slightly browning at the rim. Nose shows wet earth, cherries, some mineral, leather and old wood. Medium bodied
and mature fruit in the mouth. Earthy with minerals, cherries and old wood. The most complex of the bottles tasted. High acids and
some tannins in the back. Great foodwine. Will last.

Deep brick-red colour with lightly browning rim. Earthy nose with hints of cherries, roses and tobacco. Medium bodied in the mouth.
Mature fruit, quite mineral and earthy. Some cherries. Very high acids. Good length. Little tannins. Tough and fine foodwine.
Arnt Egil Nordlien Tasting note: July-00
This stubbornly backward wine has finally reached the top. My last bottle of this wine and it was also the best one. This was really
shining now and seems to have needed the time to round-off and evolve the fruit. Deep brick-red colour. Complex leathery and earthy
nose. Mostly tertiary aromas now. Light floral high notes and hints of almonds. Medium bodied Chianti in the mouth with still good
concentration. This has held up extremely well and has an added complexity and roundness. Mature earthy, leathery fruit. High acids
and resolved tannins in the back. Good length. Great Chianti. Good food-wine.
