Deep brick-red colour. Pretty nose. Intense Sangiovese-like nose with hints of cherries, leather, earth. Cool climate Chianti that has
aged gracefully into a very nice complexity. Fullbodied Rufina in the mouth with some sweetness in the fruit. Still much fruit. Cherries,
tobacco, earth, leather. Good acidity and fresh mouthfeel. A little tightness in the finish with some tannins left. Very good bottle with
plenty of life.
